Hi there,

I’m trying to make some changes in the css for a Virtue Premium child theme, but WordPress Editor (Appearance > Editor) throws this error every time I try to save changes: “Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP”.

In the past, I have made a lot of changes in the style.css file for this child theme, always via the WordPress Editor, but now, after some time without making any change I found this problem.

I have made some research in the internet and found other people with same problem, but any of the solutions worked for me. I’ve been told that update WordPress 4.9 made some security changes that might be the cause of the problem and a possible solution was to add the following line to wp-config.php:

define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );

but nothing has changed…

Making some tests, I’ve found that I can edit css for Virtue Premium theme, but not for child theme. And strangely I do can successfully edit functions.php for child theme. Additionally, I checked files permissions for thes files and all of them are 644, so everything is ok here.

Do you know which could it be the problem? And the solution? 🙂

Please let me know if you need any extra information about this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Anahí
