Can’t Upload Kadence Slider in WP 5.9.3?

I’m having trouble uploading the Kadence Slider in WordPress 5.9.3 It worked fine to re-upload on a site that hadn’t yet been updated which is on the same server and has all the same parameters, so I am fairly sure it is the WordPress updated version that caused the problem. Is this a known issue? Or if there is something else I should be doing? (I use Virtue theme)
