Category title on top of each category page

Hi,
I need to insert category title to each category page.
Example i open the category “eBooks”. When it opens it shows all the posts in the category eBooks. So on top of the first post in all the pages (if there are many posts) i want to have “eBooks” displayed.
There are solutions in WordPress support forums like adding some PHP code in category.php or in archive.php, but I wonder if there is any easier way to do that?
