centre text in call to action widget

Hi!
1. How can I centre the text (top to bottom) in a call to action widget?
It is for the call to action in this link: *Login to see link
2. Another question: On the above webpage, there are two darker colored bars on the left and right side than the white color in the middle of the page. Have changed those colors before, but I can’t figure it out how i did that..
