I just bought a new membership and want to choose the best option for my site.

1. It’s Ascend the most feature-packed theme?
2. The base for all Premium themes are based on the Base Kadence Theme? This means that if Kadence is updated the other will be updated too?
3. I need a theme that allows me absolute control over the layout and give my users many options to construct their articles and posts (this will be used in a Research website with many editorial perks for every article (custom layouts, fonts and all the perks that comes with the block system). What could be my best course of action? Going with Ascend or go with vanilla Kadence?
