code snippet for having the blog single post layout features in a custom post ty

Hello all
I created a CPT with types, it’s for longer posts and don’t want it together with the standard posts. However would like to have both the formatting options of the blog single post layout (author img & bio, related by custom category), which currently do not show up in the CPT customizer. Looked for a snippet in kadenge KB, but haven’t found it.
The CPT is “dossier”, can someone post the code snippet to activate such features?
Also, is there a snippet to include additional CPT’s in the author archive? Currently only blog posts are shown.
