Color Options Attribute For An External Product

All my products are external links which have different color options when you go to the external link.
Is there a way to create color swatches as part of my single product template to show the color options they will have.
I have both Woo Templates and Woo Extras but I can only get color swatches to show up if I make the product a variable product.
