Created the site, no home page in pages

I’ve built the site to how i want it i have a couple of problems.
1) There is no home page in pages? I can go on home layout and change things on it.
2) When i share the site on social media, a picture comes up that is not even in my media library? i deleted that particular image long ago
Any advice would be helpful
