Crop to Squares

Hi there,
New to wordpress, and just trying to figure out how to crop the portfolio grid images into squares. I would like them all the same size squares, then if you click on thm to show the full sized, variously sized images. I see where to crop to the same image height, but not both dimensions. Thanks!
