Database connection error – query error

Good Afternoon,
We have been experiencing database connection errors and when querying this with our host they have asked us to check that the query is correct on a particular file. (I’ll post more details in a private post) They believe this is causing the database errors.
I’m unsure if this is a theme related file but it includes references to the display of portfolio items which as far as I know if part of the virtue theme.
