Difference Between Virtue and Ascend Themes

Hello designers,
I have a client that is wanting the logo above the menu bar. It looks like the Ascend theme offers this. I have been using the premium Virtue theme the past 18 months for all my websites – whether ecommerce or regular, and I’m very used to it and can set up my sites quickly.
If the Ascend theme is the only option for me to use, I’m wondering how difficult will it be to learn this new theme…..is it very different in the back-end from Virtue? This new site will NOT be ecommerce.
With page builder plugin I can do just about anything I need to and that’s why I just stick with Virtue. 🙂
