Elements glitch/fashing on mobile: Fixed On Top vs Fixed Top After Scroll

It appears that elements that are set to “Fixed On Top” flash/glitch when scrolling on mobile, but does not do this when set to “Fixed Top After Scroll”.
I have set my element to Fixed Top After Scroll with Scroll Down Distance till Appear set to zero, and this mostly works to work around the flashing behaviour, except that the element temporarily disappears when scrolling reaches the top of the page (again, on mobile.)
Any recommendations or tips to help resolve these is welcome! Thanks!
