Eyebrow heading text smashed together in mobile viewport

This is “out-of-the-box” which means there’s a bug in this theme. I’d forgotten this was an issue but cannot even begin to imagine how to change this for the better.
So, the issue is that on smaller devices, the text of the eyebrow heading is pushed together so that it’s unreadable. Why is this?
Shouldn’t that text run on to new lines, with appropriate breakpoints?
Here’s what I mean:
