Forms adv only works if I am logged in to the site.

I have two forms on a page, one for contact and one for subscription, and neither works when I try to complete them in another browser or in an incognito tab. At first, I thought it was due to the captcha, but I removed the captcha in both forms and it still doesn’t work. In the console, I have this message: Connection error

It seems that the resource is trying to load via http and the site blocks this because it should only load over https. I don’t understand what’s happening.
