Freelance Template Help with editing please

It has been several years since I have used WordPress but I have been convinced to return due to feedback I have read about Kadence.
I like the Freelance theme, but would like some pointers as to how I swap the actions of the 2 primary images at the top of the home page.
Default actions on mobile and tablet (may be the same on desktop)
Single phone image loads
On scroll multiple versions of the background image load and swap
I would like to reverse this.
Load a single background image
On scroll load and swap multiple phone images
Suggestions to accomplish this would be appreciated
