Gallery Post Shortcode

Hi guys,
I would like to insert gallery to a gallery format post into post head content via shortcode but it is not displaying at all.
The reason by the way I would like to use shortcode is that I dont want autoplay for the gallery and I found this the only way to stop it by putting “false” into the code.
The code I am using for example is this: [gallery type="slider" caption="default" masonry="default" ids="40399,40404" link="file" autoplay="false"]
The post will not show the gallery at all.
