Getting Label vs Value from Pods Relationship field

I’ve set up a Pods custom field with the built-in US States option. In my template, this field doesn’t appear in the list of custom fields, so I need to enter it using the “Custom Meta Key” option. This will populate with the field value, but I prefer the Label (ex: “California” vs “CA”). Does anyone know if there’s an option to set the return data (either within Kadence or Pods)?
