Hey,

Sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong section.

I’m driving myself crazy with Gutenberg 😛

Could you please give me directions on how to go about linking a button to an ‘Advanced Headings’ block?

The regular ‘Headings’ block provides a space under the advanced section to set an HTML anchor, but I can’t see the option in the advanced headings version.

When I use the option to view the advanced block as HTML, I see it already has an ID set. (e.g. kt-adv-heading_c23f08-20)

– Do these IDs remain unchanged?

.. If so, I can work with that I guess, though I’d prefer to be able to rename it so the button links to http://www.domain.com/#contact rather than http://www.domain.com/#kt-adv-heading_c23f08-20

When I try to rename the ID, Gutenberg gets upset and prompts me to resolve the problem. – Doing so turns the block into a regular headings block though and I lose my advanced styling…

No doubt I’m just being dumb…

Many thanks as always!

Chris
