Hi team

Updated my Virtue premium theme today to the latest version, and I think it slowed down the loading of my site by 4 seconds or more. I did a speed test on Pingdom yesterday prior to the update and this was the result. Today this was the result. I haven’t changed anything except update the theme.

The specific error message says :

“The following publicly cacheable, compressible resources should have a “Vary: Accept-Encoding” header:

I’m reading this as something wrong in the header of the theme.
Is this of use to you to fix for your next update? Or do you think I’m interpreting this incorrectly, as I don’t understand what the error message means?

The reason I’m bringing this up, is because I wanted to see how I could speed up the loading of my home page.
(If you have any other resources for best practices for speed, would love to receive them)

Looking forward to your feedback, thanks.
Leila
