Hi everyone, I suck.

I am trying to make my first custom edit on the virtue premium, and remove the default sorting function from the Woocommerce shop page.
I have watched a dozen of tutorials, made a child theme, used the custom CSS box, edited the child style.css and functions.php and more – But no luck 🙁

This is the code I’ve come across:
remove_action( ‘woocommerce_before_shop_loop’, ‘woocommerce_catalog_ordering’, 30 );

Can someone please break it down to me barney-style on how I insert this code and remove the sorting function?
