Hide animation start location?

I’m having trouble explaining what I want so I’ve recorded a loom video.
In the video there is an image animation that fades up. You can see that the image starts over the yellow area below it. Is there anyway to hide this so that the animated image looks like it’s rising up within the blue area only?
