home page grey background

hi, my home page has a grey background in the top section. when you scroll up it appears behind my image menu boxes and even on the logo area, but when you scroll down it changes to white which is what its supposed to be. can you help? ive checked all the colour options in the back end but can’t seem to work it out.
it only happens on the home page
