Home page slider

Hello,

We are trying to match the home slider with the feature slider we have on other pages.
To explain the feature page templete allows us to add a slider to the top of the page and has a thin strip of background showing between the top of the slier and the menu. We want to create this thin strip on the home page slider too.

We tried using:
.kad-slider {
margin-top:15px;
}
but this added margin to both the home and featured page sliders. How can I just target the home slider so that the home featured page slider then has a matching thin strip above it?
