Home Widget top padding is messing up the product pages.

Hi there
I am using home widget to display text with a background on the front page, but would like that full width (like the slider) Is that possible?
I modified the css to remove padding between the front page slider and the home widget
.home-widget-box, .row, .row-fluid {
margin-top: -28px;
}
Unfortunately now the product page titles display poorly: *Login to see link
How can I fix this?
