How do you duplicate a query card

Curious if anybody has been able to easily duplicate a query card. I often want to make minor changes to query card, but don’t want it to effect the existing card. Duplicating it and then making the changes would be ideal, but it turns out to be much harder (impossible?) than I would have thought.
My first try was to simply copy all of the blocks of an existing query card, create a new card, and then paste them in. It won’t let you. The query card is locked down.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.
