How to remove the white space right underneath the header and above the footer

I want to remove the thin white space right underneath the header.
This is what inspection tool named it
<div id=”inner-wrap” class=”wrap clearfix contentclass hfeed” role=”document”>
I want to remove both white spaces; below the header and above the footer.
Please advise.
