Hi, I understand you might not support IE8, but I have to cater to it, unfortunately and I wonder if you can help.

So you can see that the portfolio carousel is broken and so are the blog posts. I have seen this functionality work in IE8 elsewhere, so it can be made to work, is there anything I can do without coding that can help me?
Also, WP or the theme notifies me that IE8 is an outdated browser via a bar in the top, while it is very true and understandable, can the piece of communication be disabled.
