Is there any way I can assign a blog post feature image to a hero image?

I want to use a blog posts feature image as a hero image on each respective blog post.
I have created a row that has a top and bottom divider (curved) and a background image that is set to 700px high (desktop size) in the structure settings. I want to display this between the site header and the blog post itself. I am using the Generate Press theme (with GP Premium) and have created an element to insert the row where I want it, all I need now is a way to assign the feature image to that post header image between the site header and the post title.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this possible with the pro version?
