Kadence Custom Fonts - Trouble viewing installed font and uploading .ttf file

Hello, I hope someone can help.

I have purchased a web font I want to use on my website for headings.

I have followed all the steps from this page: *Login to see link

I have applied the font to all headings in the Typography section of Theme Options.

When I design a page, the font shows up in the headings. However, when you preview the page, the font reverts to another (Times New Roman?).

Also, when I try to upload the TTF file to the Old Browser Support section, I get the following message:
GoldplayAlt-Medium.ttf
Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.

Am I doing something wrong?
