Kadence Pro Slider VS Full Width Slider

On the Virtue Premium Theme I have gone to Theme Options / Home Slider and set up a Full Width Slider. Everything about it is great except that when you hover over it there’s no option to pause. So instead I selected the Kadence Pro Slider and set everything up the same. There’s one issue though.
On the Full Width Slider when there’s three slides there are three dots that clearly show which slide is active. You can then click on a specific dot to go to that slide.
On the Kadence Pro Slider the dots are there, but none of them highlights to let you know which slide you’re on. Is this a bug in the slider or some option I am missing?
