Kadence Simple Share Links in Same Tab

I’m working on a website that needs to meet WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. To prepare for that I can’t really use new tab links, and it seems by default the built-in social share links open to a new tab. Is it possible to create a filter where these would all open in the same tab?
Something similar to this:
add_filter('kadence_social_link_target', '__return_true');
