Kadence Slider – Pop-Up Shortcode

Hello Team Kadence!
Is there a way to add a shortcode to the slider? I have a pop-up that I need to display when clicking a button (the shortcode creates the button and then pops open a modal window). I tried adding it to the slider but it renders it as text.
If there is not a way to add it, is there a hook or filter (or something) I can add to my functions that would tell it to render the shortcode?
