Make dropdown more forgiving (menu close delay)?

Using Kadence Theme with Blocks, Blocks Pro and Kadence Pro. I’m playing around with both standard dropdown menus and the mega menu in Kadence Pro. Especially with the latter, how could I either…
– add a close delay after the mouse exits the menu area, or
– increase the area of the menu beyond the visible box?
At the moment I don’t think the menu is forgiving enough to use.
