migrating site

Latest WordPress 4.3.1 and Virtue Theme 3.3.7.
I have built many sites on one domain and then transferred them to another domain with virtue themes.
my one problems is that when i do this, i always lose the theme options and have to do them again.
there must be a step that i am missing out. can you help.
this is what I do
in file manager on old domain..
1. Compress wordpress files and download to pc
2. Go to phpmyadmin andexport database
3. In notepad, open old database and find and replace old domain name with new one. save with new name.O
In file manager on new domain..
4 Create a new database, user and password.
5. In phpmyadmin, import changed database.
6. Upload and extract wordpress files from pc
this is should it, but I still have to reinstate all the theme options and widgets.
What am I leaving out.
