Modal Link for Image Overlay

Hello,
Is there a way to create a modal for an image overlay? Here’s the steps I took:
Set the link on the image overlay to ‘#traditional’
Set the class on the image overlay to ‘modal-trigger’ (I think this is where the issue is since this is the class for the image overlay and not the link itself)
Set the modal custom open ID to ‘traditional’
Please let me know if I may possibly be missing something or if I have some incorrect settings. I will add a private reply with the link to the site.
