Multilingual "by" on post author icon

Hi,
Can you guys add option to translate word “by” on post author icon, or add code __(“by”, “virtue”) to file content-single.php and others? Now I have problem on my multilangue site. I can add code __(“by:.. by myself but I will have to do this every update of theme.
