Not Able to Upload Images as https:// in Customizer

When I try uploading an image for the background or a logo for the header, the customizer tool shows that the image has been uploaded with http:// in its URL rather than https://
My site is an SSL enabled site, so I am not sure why this is happening. As a result, Chrome shows my site as insecure because of this mixed content.
