Page builder, Page content

Like told in the tutorial, I use the static page, with a home page for page builder changes.
I placed the “virtue: image menu widget” on my home page. To show it, I have to enable the page content in the homepage layout manager.
Unfortunately, it always places an empty space on my page. If you go there with the mouse, it looks like there would be some content.
I don´t want this space. (You can look at it here: http://www.coconut-couture.com) How can I get rid of it?
