Pages give 500 error + localisations

Hi guys,
I usually use Virtue, but wanted to try Ascend as well. I have two questions for now:
1)I have created a plain simple page with a wordpress gallery in it – *Login to see link
However it gives 500 internal error and doesn’t load the gallery. I also experienced that on some other pages.
2)How do I contribute with translations? Or at least translate some things for myself? I need to change text in both theme and woocommerce, whats the correct way?
