Portfolio thumbnail dissapeared

Yesterday it was ok, I have added few portfolios and set a thumbnail for them. However today I created a new portfolio and option “set thumbnail” when editing portfolio doesn’t exist, it doesn’t even exist in screen options, while in other portfolios it exists in screen options. Why did this happen?
