Portfolio vs post in Virtue

Please help me to figure out which type of posts to choose for my project. Each post will be about one suite category on cruise ships. When I bought Virtue I thought about Portfolio post because it is sortable. At the same type, there are no tags and categories but types and values instead.
Types = categories, correct?
Values = tags, correct?
Can I use a few types instead of one?
Types are shown in slugs for a particular product, correct?
My posts have a lot of pictures and videos as well as long text. What project option I have to choose?
Also, portfolios are searchable by Google?
