Problems when I “Copy Product to a New Draft”

I use this function a lot with my Woo Commerce Shop as I have many similar products with similar descriptions which have the same weight, shipping class, price etc so it saves me heaps of time. Just lately though I’ve been experiencing problems and wonder if you can help. I’m not sure if it’s due to a plug-in or perhaps the Heartbeat Control plugin (guessing). It’s like a caching problem but I don’t have any caching plug-ins on my site.
All of a sudden, I can’t change the description or pictures in the product gallery. The description and pics when changed, revert back to the post I copied the new draft from.
Any ideas as it’s so frustrating.
