My client complains that when he switches Product Image Aspect Ratio to from 1:1 to Variable, his category pages take an inordinately long time to load. I have tested and confirmed this.

The preference is currently set back to 1:1, but he’d prefer Variable, if we can get the load time back down. What can you suggest?
