Product sort dropdown colours…

Hi,
Got a little problem with the product sorting option on woocommerce category pages.
I have went for a dark coloured look to the site, but a few things don’t seem to utilise the global colours. Some I could fix with a css tweak (such as the select boxes on the off canvas product filter), but one… I just can’t seem to figure out, and that is the product sorting dropdown.
I’ve attached an image so you can see what I mean. I’d be happy if I could just get the text to display as a contrasting color to the background of the dropdown.
