put Google AdSense in theme Head

hello
I would like to know where to put the Google AdSense code in the theme. I was looking for “head” and found “header” and saw that it says not to put anything there and suggests to use Theme Options – Header and Footer Scripts. I looked at Theme options and could not find any place to put the code. What should I do?
