Reduce menu spacing

Good Afternoon,
We have a setup with the logo centred and the menu split 3 either side. This has caused the logo to shrink significantly.
We think that reducing the menu item spacing will allow for more room and the logo will increase to a more suitable size.
Can you explain how to reduce the menu spacing? Or is there a better way to achieve the above?
