Removing the border/padding on the Advanced Button so it’s just text and icon

Hi,
I have created a button the looks similar to the “Read More” link in the screenshot with the arrow icon. All is good but aligning it can be a pain as i have just set the border width and margin to 0 and border colour transparency to 0 but there is always padding around the text so I can’t use natural alignment to left justify with text above. Is there a way to remove all padding on buttons?
