I’m looking for tool suggestions to build responsive hero images with text and a button.

Right now I am using SmartSlider but I just use a singe image (no “slider”) and I don’t like the overhead.

I have tried the COVER Block but it lacks control over the appearance on different devices. (Sorry, but my CSS skills aren’t good enough to write those myself!)

I’m just using straight blocks and no a builder tool like Beaver Builder.

Any suggestions for something that has the appearance control but not the slider overhead?
