Reusable Blocks – Updating on pages?

I would like to understand something. This may be a WordPress issue, but it’s occurring with reusable blocks I have inserted into pages. Frequently, but not always, when I update and attempt to publish a page that contains a reusable block an alert tells me that I need to save changes to both the page content and the reusable block. I have not, in these cases, made any changes to the reusable block. (I make a point of not editing them outside of the Reusable Blocks Manager.)

Why is this happening?

Similarly, when I have finished updating and publishing pages, frequently as I exit the page I am given a warning asking me to confirm that I want to leave the page. Then, upon returning, there will often be a notice that a more recent version of the page exists – would I like to review changes?

These are very possibly the same issue or similar at least. And the issues may be with WP itself, not Kadence Theme or Kadence Blocks. But if someone can explain to me what is happening I might be able to relax about these disruptions to my workflow (and confidence!)

Much thanks,
Rachel.
