Sizing images for headers

I’m using Pinnacle Premium and can’t figure out how to prepare my images to fit the headers on the homepage and on other pages and posts. For example, what are the dimensions of the space provided for the header background images, in pixels?
I see how to add background images to my headers. I’ve resized my images and the width seems fine. But I can’t figure out how to crop the height to fit the height of the header.
